Before the call

To Make the Most
of 20 Minutes

What to have ready
Four things. That's it.
Have your Opsgenie admin join — or share screen
They'll know the on-call structure and escalation policies. If they can't make it, sharing your screen with Opsgenie open is enough.
Know roughly how many on-call rotations you have
One team or ten — the number affects migration complexity. A ballpark is fine. We don't need an exact count before the call.
Have your Jira instance URL handy
Just the URL — yourcompany.atlassian.net. We'll look at project structure together on the call to assess readiness.
Bring your biggest concern about migration
Compliance scope, team training, PagerDuty integration, timeline pressure — whatever's keeping you up about the April 2027 deadline. We'll address it directly.

No prep doc. No questionnaire. No homework. Just show up. We'll ask questions, you answer. 20 minutes.

What we'll cover

The 20-Minute Agenda

1
Current Opsgenie workflow map
On-call schedules, escalation policies, alert routing, stakeholder communications. What's working and what isn't — before we talk about anything else.
2
Jira readiness check
Jira Software or JSM? What's your project structure? We identify the exact configuration Phoenix needs for your specific setup.
3
Migration timeline
How long from Opsgenie to Phoenix and your existing PagerDuty. Most teams: 1–2 weeks. Complex teams: 4–6 weeks. You'll know which you are before the call ends.
4
Cost comparison
What you pay now vs. Phoenix and your existing stack. Most teams save 30–50%. We'll run the numbers live.
5
Go / no-go recommendation
If Phoenix isn't right for your team, we'll say so and recommend alternatives. No hard sell. No follow-up sequence if the answer is no.
What to expect

Not a Sales Call.
An Actual Audit.

"I expected a sales pitch. I got a genuine audit. They told us Phoenix wasn't ready for our use case and recommended we wait 6 months. We came back and bought anyway — because of the honesty."
